Alex has a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from The Citadel and a Master’s of Business Administration with a focus in International Business from the Darla Moore School of Business at the University of South Carolina. He is an accomplished triathlete and cancer survivor. He is very involved in the community through the Columbia Kiwanis Club, where he has served as President, Board Member, and Lieutenant Governor for the Carolinas district. He has served on numerous boards and other community leadership positions recently including serving on the Richland County Library Foundation Board. Alex is currently an American Red Cross Board member, S.C. Ports Authority Ambassador, and serves on the Tournament Committee for the Junior Invitational at Sage Valley Golf Club.
